The Senator Darryl E. Rouson Center for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Research at С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ will conduct rigorous research to advance the scientific understanding of the relationship between substance abuse and mental health issues, including improving treatment outcomes and reducing the societal impacts of substance abuse and mental health conditions.

Through a grant from the Florida Legislature, researchers in the С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ Health Morsani College of Medicine will conduct a clinical study to help determine if hyperbaric oxygen therapy can ease the symptoms of traumatic brain injury in Florida’s veteran, active duty and reserve service members.
