С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ is stepping up to support the Tampa Bay community in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Through initiatives such as the Tampa Bay Strong campaign, the С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ Medical Response Unit and the Community Emergency Response Team, С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ is helping residents recover and rebuild.

The С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee campuses have reopened. In light of ongoing recovery efforts, С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ will reschedule Homecoming Week activities and the on-campus stadium groundbreaking ceremony that were planned for this week.

A team of researchers led by С»ÆÑ¼ÊÓÆµ St. Petersburg GIS and Remote Sensing Professor Barnali Dixon used the CRIS-HAZARD app to analyze real-time flooding in Pinellas County.
